Zirconia or Ceramic Crowns

A strong and predictable solution for restoring severely damaged teeth and stabilizing the bite. Used in cases such as:

when more than 70% of the tooth is damaged;

if the tooth is non-vital — its nerve has been removed;

when adjusting or restoring bite height;

when food constantly gets trapped between large fillings;

when a discolored tooth needs to be covered and a restoration alone doesn’t achieve the desired result.

Zirconia Bridges

A fixed restoration that withstands chewing forces, maintains its color over time, and feels completely natural in the mouth. Used in cases such as:

when one or two consecutive teeth are missing;

when placing an implant isn’t possible (insufficient bone, general medical contraindications, or lack of space for an implant);

when the supporting teeth already have fillings or crowns, or require restoration;

Implant-Supported Prosthetics

We provide prosthetic restorations on implants placed at our clinic, as well as on existing patient implants. When needed, we remove prosthetic structures that have lost function or aesthetics and replace them with new ones.

Stage 01

Diagnosis

Before starting treatment, the dentist performs an examination, reviews CT scans, and takes a photo record to assess the condition of the tooth, root, and surrounding tissues. At this stage, we clarify your expectations, analyze your bite and opposing teeth, and determine whether a zirconia or ceramic crown is the best option. The result is a carefully chosen treatment plan designed to last for years.

Tooth Preparation

For your comfort, we use a single-use OptraGate to protect your lips and cheeks during the procedure. Next, an impression is taken for the temporary crown. The dentist then removes the affected tissue, treats the root canals if needed, restores the tooth with a post, and prepares it for the crown. This creates a strong foundation for the permanent restoration. If the tooth is already non-vital, the procedure is completely pain-free and does not require additional anesthesia.

3D Scanning

After preparing the tooth, we perform a 3D scan of both jaws to accurately capture the bite and interproximal contacts. Next, we select the shade of the future crown to match your natural teeth as closely as possible. During the same visit, a temporary crown is made to protect the tooth, maintain aesthetics, and ensure comfort until the permanent restoration is placed.

Laboratory Stage

Using the digital scans, the dental technician models the crown’s anatomical shape in 3D to ensure proper chewing and even distribution of forces. The crown then goes through several manufacturing cycles, the number and sequence of which depend on the chosen material. This process ensures high strength, precise fit, and consistent color throughout the crown’s lifespan.

Crown Try-In

At the next visit, the dentist removes the temporary crown and tries in the permanent one. The fit, contacts with adjacent teeth, bite alignment, and color are carefully evaluated. If any adjustments are needed, the crown is sent back to the laboratory for correction.

Crown Placement and Aftercare

Once the fit is finalized, the crown is cemented in place using a specialized dental cement. A final bite check is performed, ensuring no cement remains between the teeth or under the gums. After placement, we provide personalized care instructions and schedule preventive checkups to maintain the result for years to come.
